Richard, One more question. What takes precedence? If I have PHP 4 on my system which uses php.ini, and then download a PHP 5 version with your patch and have a php5.ini file, am I right to assume that the version specific INI file will take precedence? (I guess otherwise it would defeat its purpose but just checking :)
