libxml2-2.6.23\include\libxml\parser.h exists in the latest version (2.6.23) from www.xmlsoft.org. Sorrybut. Jani's right. If the OS is missing a file, how's that a PHP issue?

Which is also true of OS X 10.3.9:

http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=34844

Compiling PHP > 5.1 on 10.3.9 requires installing libxml because of a missing parser.h in the version provided by the OS.

This file is supposed to be wherever libxml headers are installed.

Build php 5.1.1 for win32

Several files include libxml/parser.h
which is not there (in ext/libxml)

This file is also not available in the latest version
of libxml2 (gnome).
