To me :: would be the choice because this is already known for scoping
into classes.

Or have a look at the Mozilla roadmap. They've got serious reasons not
to pass the Acid2 test for Firefox 1.5 as Gecko 1.8 is already frozen
_and_ they stick to that decision.
