Until tonight I was sure that only a few projects still use the [] syntax which is depreciated for 5 years. But if some of you don't think so I'm probably wrong. For me it's more important to have the possibility to use a convention (like "$arrays[], $strings{}") in a project, not to drop something. Looks like if I will loose this possibility soon.
