Actually, we have no control over this at all. We already need to work 
around issues in different PHP version (4.3. vs. 4.4 for example). We're 
taking quite a risk to go straight to PHP 6, but we still believe in 
that it is going to be a good idea. Especially when we can get rid of 
some of the BC ballast that PHP is carrying with it right now.

Sure, I know everything about that, but those people can also switch 
hosts, and which is what some of our users hapily do.
