Implemented in PHP 5.1.
It would be cool if you could write test cases when you're closing these
bugs...

Ok!
But this particular bug doesn't need it because I remember that Andrey added
a test case when he added the support for this feature. (I've checked it
ATM, and it is at ext/standard/tests/strings/explode.phpt)
