What config.m4 patch? Is it crucial for Beta 2? I don't want to keep Beta 2
delayed indefinitely... It's only worth it if it's a critical bug.

Well, technically IBM can't touch it either.
Send me any patches and I'll be sure to apply them in the morning
(BST), including that config.m4 patch that should probably find its
way into beta 2 (sorry Andi; it slipped my mind).
