So far, I personally saw one legitimate use brought up - exiting control blocks, which can be handled with another proposal, labeled breaks. Another use brought up - claim that parsers can't work without it - don't seem to me a valid argument for goto, I'm perfectly sure one can write parsers without any gotos, as many languages (e.g. Java) don't have gotos and have parsers for all kinds of data. That's not to mean PHP should always mimick Java, but this is to prove that agument about necessity of goto for parser writing is false. So, we are back to only one legitimate use. You are welcome to bring forward more.
