Why do you need to use OO to use exceptions?
Maybe "throw new Exception;" is already too much OO for somebody's
mother because you create a new object of the Exception class here.
I'm pretty sure I can convince _my_ mother to use that without
'embracing OO'. At any rate, exceptions are distinct from OOP in
many languages.
