I hope i can do my outstanding PDO work during the next few weeks so the time frame is ok for me too.

However i'd like to see the 'ifsetor' or '?:' operator since it makes many things much faster and easier to read.
I am not sure if the security filter functions aren't enough because they will be used to gather and verify input which is the main purpose of ifsetor.
Also, we never found a great implementation but that's another story :)
Last but not least i have some forach-engine cleanup lingering around which i will commit in the next days.
OK just don't break anything :)
