That description would cover the WordPress use case, which as you've agreed doesn't need to know about the module versions or hierarchy. Right now, that's the only concrete example I'm aware of. So, if you want to add the complexity of module dependency trees, or if Alexander (how confusing to have an Alex and an Alexander active in the same thread!) wants to add the complexity of version tags, we need a new example to talk about.
