Hi

the mailing list was affected by connectivity issues for the past few days that prevented it from reliably receiving email (or receiving email at all). It appears it is available again. This email is intended both as a test and to provide actionable advice.

The last email that made it before those issues was the PHP 8.5.3 release announcement by Volker Dusch: https://news-web.php.net/php.internals/130070.

If you sent an email to the list after 2026-02-12 19:41 UTC:

- If you received a “non-delivery notification” by your email provider: Your email to the list was lost. Please resend it. - If you did not (yet) receive a “non-delivery notification: It is likely that your email provider will still retry sending the email, possibly with several-hour delay in-between attempts. Your email should hopefully appear on the list no later than 24 - 48 hours from now. If it does not show up in the archives by Thursday, it likely was lost without sending a non-delivery notification. In that case, please also resend it.

Thanks to those who reported the issue and to Derick who handled the communication with the hosting provider to get the issue fixed.

Best regards
Tim Düsterhus
