Nope, file a bug report, if you think, it's a bug ;)

But don't bother, it's not a bug. You have to use $DomDocuemnt->importNode(), if you want to copy a node from one document to another. See
http://ch.php.net/manual/en/function.dom-domdocument-importnode.php
and the W3C docs.
