They're installed according to however they are installed on Fedora Core 2. I didn't install either one of them; they come with the system, afaik.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ramsey]$ aclocal --print-ac-dir /usr/share/aclocal [EMAIL PROTECTED] ramsey]$ ls -l /usr/share/aclocal/libtool* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 210301 Apr 11 22:01 /usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4 So, you think I need to do a reinstall of autoconf/automake/libtool? Currently, my system has the following installed as RPMs: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ramsey]$ rpm -qa | grep autoconf autoconf213-2.13-8 autoconf-2.59-3 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ramsey]$ rpm -qa | grep automake automake-1.8.3-1 automake17-1.7.9-2 automake16-1.6.3-2 automake15-1.5-10 automake14-1.4p6-9 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ramsey]$ rpm -qa | grep libtool libtool-libs-1.5.6-1 libtool-libs13-1.3.5-9.1 libtool-1.5.6-1 --- Rasmus Lerdorf <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Do this: > > aclocal --print-ac-dir > > This should show you the directory your various m4 macro files are in. > The fact that the AC_PROG_LIBTOOL macro is shown as undefined is a sign > that your autoconf/libtool stuff is completely misconfigured and don't > know about each other.
