If there’s interest in turning this into a community project outside the official PHP project, I’d be interested in helping coordinate the efforts, in addition to the use of the domain gophp8.dev and hosting. This way, the PHP project can maintain its neutrality, while the community can iterate quickly on promoting the release of PHP 8. Cheers, Ben
