I think one of the first 5.0.1 fixes should be about this bug: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=29132 Many applications broken due to this, I'm not the one who reported it but I've got stick with this bug on various hosts and applications since one of the last PHP 5.0.0-dev snapshots.
