The whole point of PPP is to not be forgiving or permissive unless you instruct the engine to do so.
which I don't want to (not sure right now what its set to.), and I agree with you, PPP is a very nice addition to PHP. I realise the suggestion was hacky but I was thinking more in terms of pre-empting a barrage of support emails
I'm happy to just remove the P and add it again if ever that becomes an option.
