I requested a CVS account "gurugeek" on the 11 January and sent a couple of reminds to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (copy below).
Perhaps my initial description on why I need a CVS account was not sufficient.
Find below some more information on what I did so far and why I need a CVS account:
What I did
*Main PHPDocs *
Documented the following functions: /phpdoc/en/reference/ircg/functions ircg-list.xml /phpdoc/en/reference/ircg/functions ircg-invite.xml ircg-lusers.xml ircg-oper.xml ircg-who.xml
/phpdoc/en/reference/ncurses/functions ncurses-border.xml ncurses-getmaxyx.xml ncurses-init.xml ncurses-newwin.xml ncurses-wborder.xml udm-hash-32.xml udm-alloc-array.xml
*Italian Docs*
New maintainer for reference/datetime
-translated some new functions all reference/cyrus all reference/cyrus/functions
-In progress: updating several critical chapters marked as critical.
*Pear Docs*
Documented the net-geo package In progress: documenting the remaining mail packages
Why do I need a CVS Account ?
There are several critical updates on the Italian Documentation. One example is the reference/datetime I maintain. There are several outdated translations
and as you might well know these are very important functions.
Sending the files to another maintainer is certainly feasible for occasional patch but with around 10+ translations a week is not an ideal solution.
Beside the translation work I want to continue with the pear-doc work and phpdoc main documentation.
Thanks in Advance for your time and attention.
Looking forward your soonest reply I remain,
Regards David Costa
Hello!
I am currently a new translator for the Italian Docs (http://lists.php.net/article.php?group=php.doc.it&article=535).
Whilst for the first ones it was perfectly fine to send the translations one by one to Darvin, I would appreciate if someone could activate
my CVS account "gurugeek" requested on the 11 Jan 2004.
Within the next few days I will jump into the maintenance of some previously translated sections and the CVS access might really come handy ;)
Looking forward your soonest reply,
Regards David Costa
