Now most people seem to be back and over their new year's hangovers I'd like to jump start RC1.
As discussed, we should start the process of cleaning up for RC1. I think we should try and target for the end of January.
I suggest each extension maintainer go through his bugs and check to see if there are any serious issues you want/can fix by then.
There are still some outstanding engine bugs which will be addressed by then.
