"before" was done with php5-200311241830 which is ~ 90 minutes older than HEAD which is "after".

Can you please send me a small code snippet of something which worked before and doesn't work anymore.
I knew stuff would break because I had to touch some very sensitive mechanisms but hopefully we'll iron out the problems quickly (if I get good reproducing cases :)
