Hello, I'm a developer, and trying to think of the programming language for the next web development project.
Requirements: The ability to compile the sources into bytecode/opcode format so that the source code is protected. I know that one can achieve this by using additional software, but using additional software in a project where the product is going to be distributed widely, is very difficult. For me, this should be built-in. Some other languages offer this by default. Don't you think it would be good for PHP language if it could do this without the need for installing additional software, by anyone who wishes to take advantage of such a feature?
