Just FYI, I've committed the new COM and .Net extension for php5. Although it doesn't yet have all the features of the php4 extension, it should be as usable (perhaps better than?) what you have been used to with php4.
The .Net support requires the mscoree.h header file from the .Net SDK to be present on the snaps machine; I will coordinate with Edin to make this work, however, the first few snaps will not have it enabled. Please take a look at the README[1] for a little bit more information about the differences or major points to consider for the new implementation. If you find bugs in this implementation, post them to bugs.php.net in the usual way. --Wez.
