It been quite a while since the RC1 release and I believe we are way overdue
for RC2. Therefor, I would like to release RC2 on Wednesday the 30th (next
Wednesday), which should give everyone plenty of time to apply any last
minute fixes. But, this is just a release candidate, so unless you have an
absolutely critical fix it won't be delayed for it's inclusion, there will be
a next RC. Hopefully RC2 will prove to be rock solid and within a week of
it's release we will be able to move on to 4.3.3 final.

At the moment there are 143 open bug reports regarding the 4.3.X/4.X branch
and I would like to ask all developers to use the next week a half to try to
solve as many of these bugs as possible. Quite a number of the open reports
are assigned, so finding what to fix should not pose a problem ;).

At the moment I am not aware of any critical issues that could prevent the RC
release or any especially important patches that may not be ready for the
Wednesday deadline. So, if there are such issues, please make me aware of
them.

The few issues that I'd like if possible to have resolved involve the imap,
apache2 and streams related bugs.
