Hi, I'm having a strange unstability issue on Dell Pro 16 laptop with the e1000e. With a high likely hood the NIC enters in non-functional state after the cable has been unplugged and plugged in again. If this happens, the NIC first enters 1gbps/half-duplex mode and then goes down and then finally enters the 1gbps/full-duplex mode. Basically same symptoms as https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218642 with additionally ending up non-working state (dhcpd does not get IP address).
