Dear int area In the pim working group we have been working on replacing RFC 1112 on Host extensions for IP multicasting with a new document that makes IGMPv1 historic and instead references IGMPv3 and MLDv2 that are about to become Internet standards. It also includes IPv6, there is currently no equivalent to 1112 for IPv6.
As this is a key part of multicast in general, and also not limited to routing, I am hoping that members of the intarea can assist in reviewing this document.
