This is an implementation issue, not a specification issue. Some NICs, such as NVIDIA, have the ability to ignore FCS errors. See https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/mlnxofedv582030lts/ignore+frame+check+sequence+(fcs)+errors for example. Cheers, Andy
