This revision is intended to resolve the IANA comments in the IANA early review ([IANA #1277129] Early review: draft-ietf-intarea-rfc7042bis, not posted to the INTAREA mailing list) and makes the process for getting an EtherType for an IETF protocol more explicit. I have gone by the IANA desk and gotten their informal OK on these changes.
