Hi, I have been working on an update to RFC 7042 on IANA Considerations for IETF use of IEEE 802 parameters. During IETF 113 I consulted an INT AD and go the advice that bringing this up on the Internet Area mailing list was the way to go with the idea being that the Internet Area WG could decide to handle it or suggest it should be AD sponsored or come to a consensus on some other disposition.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Donald =============================== Donald E. This document discusses several uses of such parameters in IETF protocols, specifies IANA considerations for assignment of points under the IANA OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier), and provides some values for use in documentation. This document obsoletes RFC 7042. The IETF Secretariat
