I added keywords to mails in Thunderbird in order to find important

If this is the same mechanism as tagging in Thunderbird, they are not

Yes, you are right, even on the server the keywords are not stored.

Yes, it is the same mechanism as tagging in Thunderbird.

Is it possible in Gnus with registry to have 200 and more registry marks? or are there only approx. 5 different?

I have got now approx. 200 different tags, and if there are important messages, I add a new tag in order to find those messages later more easily.

thanks

Gottfried
