What happens if you write to majord...@lists.math.uh.edu and put
"help" in the body of the email?

The help text I got back has listname-ow...@lists.math.uh.edu as the
address for the individual mailing lists and
majordomo-ow...@lists.math.uh.edu for the entire setup.
So I would start by writing ding-ow...@lists.math.uh.edu.
