Sorry, my bad. I confused the `o' for saving an article from the summary buffer and the `o' for saving a MIME part. But there is still something confusing: while searching for the index key "attachment" from the Gnus manual, you find these sections: 3.19 MIME Commands 8.21.1 Dired 5.5 Archived Messages But isn't the most relevant section "Using MIME"? Same when you search for "attachment" with `s'. Strangely enough, the "Using MIME" section doesn't have any occurrence of the word attachment.
