GNU Unifont 8.0.01 was released on 28 June 2015. This release incorporates changes that The Unicode Consortium made to Unicode 8.0.0 Basic Multilingual Plane code pages, to retain complete coverage of the Unicode BMP.
This release also adds about 1000 newly drawn glyphs to the Unicode Supplemental Multilingual Plane. This version is available for public download at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/unifont/unifont-8.0.01/ For a full description of changes, see the ChangeLog file in the source tarball. Paul Hardy
