Hi, This is the announcement of a new bug-fix release of GNU gettext.
GNU gettext allows programs to produce messages in the user's native language. It consists of - runtime libraries for C, C++, Java, C#, Shell programs. - tools for programmers and translators. The 0.19.1 release had serious bugs that affected package building. This release fixes them, namely: - Missing intl/ChangeLog file causing "make dist" error when a package is using intl/ subdirectory - Invalid memory access in xgettext when parsing empty string literals in C/Vala - AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR tracing failure causing config.rpath copied into the current directory Also, it contains updates of Gnulib, intl/ (partly sync'ed up with GNU libc), and translations (Finnish). Thanks for the contributions! Here are the compressed sources: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gettext/gettext-0.19.2.tar.gz (17MB) ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gettext/gettext-0.19.2.tar.xz (6.4MB) Here are the GPG detached signatures[*]: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gettext/gettext-0.19.2.tar.gz.sig ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gettext/gettext-0.19.2.tar.xz.sig Use a mirror for higher download bandwidth: http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html [*] Use a .sig file to verify that the corresponding file (without the .sig suffix) is intact. First, be sure to download both the .sig file and the corresponding tarball. Then, run a command like this: gpg --verify gettext-0.19.2.tar.gz.sig If that command fails because you don't have the required public key, then run this command to import it: gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys D7E69871 and rerun the 'gpg --verify' command. This release was bootstrapped with the following tools: Autoconf 2.69 Automake 1.13.4 Bison 2.7 Gnulib v0.1-186-g71be4c8 Regards, -- Daiki Ueno
