I am pleased to announce GNU gcal 3.6.1. Gcal is a program for calculating and printing calendars. Gcal displays hybrid and proleptic Julian and Gregorian calendar sheets, respectively for one month, three months, or a whole year. It also displays eternal holiday lists for many countries around the globe, and features a very powerful creation of fixed date liststhat can be used for reminding purposes. Gcal can calculate various astronomical data and times of the Sun and the Moon for pleasure at any location, precisely enough for most civil purposes. Gcal supports some other calendar systems, for example, the Chinese and Japanese calendars, the Hebrew calendar, and the civil Islamic calendar, too.
Noteworthy changes in this release: * Include All Saints' day in HU * Fix build issue under solaris 10 / studio 12.1 * Unicode support * Make --help a synonym for --long-help Source code is available for download here: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcal/gcal-3.6.1.tar.gz ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcal/gcal-3.6.1.tar.xz and the GPG detached signatures using the key C03363F4: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcal/gcal-3.6.1.tar.gz.sig ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcal/gcal-3.6.1.tar.xz.sig To reduce load on the main server, you can use this redirector service which automatically redirects you to a mirror: http://ftpmirror.gnu.org/gcal/gcal-3.6.1.tar.gz http://ftpmirror.gnu.org/gcal/gcal-3.6.1.tar.xz Please report any problem you may experience to the bug-g...@gnu.org mailing list.
