GNU libunistring is a library that provides functions for manipulating Unicode strings and for manipulating C strings according to the Unicode standard.
News for 0.9.2: * The function uc_locale_language now uses the locale of the current thread, if a thread-specific locale has been set. libunistring is now contained in the Ubuntu, Fedora Core, openSUSE, Mandriva, Debian distributions.
