Release date: Jul 06, 2008 GLPK (GNU Linear Programming Kit) is intended for solving large-scale linear programming (LP), mixed integer linear programming (MIP), and other related problems. It is a set of routines written in ANSI C and organized as a callable library. In this release: The configure script was changed to disable all optional features by default. For details please see file INSTALL. The following new API routines were added: glp_erase_prob erase problem object content glp_read_mps read problem data in MPS format glp_write_mps write problem data in MPS format glp_read_lp read problem data in CPLEX LP format glp_write_lp write problem data in CPLEX LP format For description of these new routines see the reference manual included in the distribution. The following API routines are deprecated: lpx_read_mps, lpx_read_freemps, lpx_write_mps, lpx_write_freemps, lpx_read_cpxlp, and lpx_write_cpxlp. Two bugs were fixed.
