-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 GLPK 4.25 -- Release Information ********************************
Release date: Dec 19, 2007 GLPK (GNU Linear Programming Kit) is intended for solving large-scale linear programming (LP), mixed integer linear programming (MIP), and other related problems. It is a set of routines written in ANSI C and organized as a callable library. In this release: A tentative implementation of Gomory's mixed integer cuts was included in the branch-and-cut solver. To enable generating Gomory's cuts the control parameter gmi_cuts passed to the routine glp_intopt should be set to GLP_ON. This feature is also available in the solver glpsol through command-line option '--gomory'. For more details please see the reference manual included in the distribution. Please note that the cut manager (a routine that makes decisions about generating and using cuts) implemented in the solver currently is quite primitive, so in many cases enabling Gomory's and/or MIR cuts may slow down the solution process. See GLPK web page at <http://www.gnu.org/software/glpk/glpk.html>. GLPK distribution can be ftp'ed from <ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/glpk/> or from some mirror ftp sites; see <http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html>.
