hello... this would seem to be a fairly common problem. I am unable to resolve it myself or with any of the solutions I found in the archives.. fbsd 4.11, and sasl is installed properly, no matter what I do to the configure file or what I do when I attempt to configure (--with-sasl=/path/to/it) I cannot get this message to go away!
checking sasl/sasl.h presence... no checking for sasl/sasl.h... no configure: error: Cannot continue without libsasl2. Get it from ftp://ftp.andrew.cmu.edu/pub/cyrus-mail/. ----- I started to write the above message, and then figured out what the problem was... for me, anyway.
