I have done that, still get connection refused when postfix tries to deliver to cyrus. A ls -la command gives;
srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Jun 21 19:39 /var/run/cyrus/socket/lmtp to the file which I hva defined as mailbox_transport in main.cf. Don't understand why it get premision denied. In the cyrus.conf file the LMTP reads: > > # At least one form of LMTP is required for delivery > # (you must keep the Unix socket name in sync with > imap.conf) > #lmtp cmd="lmtpd" listen="localhost:lmtp" > prefork=0 maxchild=20 > lmtpunix cmd="lmtpd" > listen="/var/run/cyrus/socket/lmtp" prefork=0 maxchild=20 > > # ---------------------------------------------- Then make your main.cf like this: mailbox_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/run/cyrus/socket/lmtp And again, make sure your lmtp on the postfix side is not running chrooted. Check master.cf, a line like this should appear: lmtp unix - - n - - lmtp HTH Simon > > Im not sure if that becomes right when the postfix runs chrooted?
