So when they log in for the first time, they get their INBOX autocreated
properly, right?  So the maildrops they get are:

user.<user>
user.<user>.Trash
user.<user>.Sent
user.<user>.user.

How is the "user." folder showing up?  I don't understand how there can be
a folder with a period in it.  Cyrus uses the period as a metacharacter.

Or do you mean that they start to see:

INBOX
INBOX.Trash
INBOX.Sent
user.

?
