Hi,

Your prompt comments to this email will be greatly appretiated due to the
severity of the data loss.

We just had a hardware failure on an old cyrus 1.5.19 installation. The
mailboxes file is gone, however we have a backup which is few days old.
We would like to move people to cyrus 2.0, and I am wondering if this
scenario can be played safely.

1. use ctl_mailbox to convert the text database to .db
2. At the same time run the reconstruct command to build the mailbox.db
from the actual data.

a. Can this be done???, if not which is the best way to go about this.
b. Can mailboxes that have entries in the mailboxes.db be accessed at that
point? even as mroe being converted or scouted by construct???
c. Another question related to creating mailboxes.db. Did anyone
experience a long conversion process from the text version to .db
version?? Our file is about 35Mb and the process was taking hours to
finish.

thanks
Adonis
