My recent experience with the German site is that it will show a thumbnail
but time out when you click to see the actual photos.
It's rather frustrating. However, please remember that many major libraries
have (of course lower quality and black and white reproductions) published
volumes with much if not all of this material, and more--huge sets
published in China, not always easy to navigate, but we are not lost when
internet resources disappear.
A strong argument for continuing to print on paper!
