I too had thought of this genus, but could not find a match for the following species listed in TN Flora checklist. *barberi* | *brunonis *| *eriantha *| *grandiflora *| *hirsutula *| *incarnata *| *mungos *| *pectinata *| *pykarensis *| *roxburghiana *| *rugosa *(3 varieties) | *tirunelvelica * I will re-check.
