Thank you Garg ji. I checked for any visual difference in subsp. *pungens* from its parent species on the internet. It says: flowers in the subsp. *pungens* are "tightly packed" in clusters at the branch tips. I have uploaded one cropped photo in flickr and iNaturalist. Uploading it here too.
