Quite possible, Saroj ji. Many thanks.
I checked on the internet about visual differences among the two species.
I will not stress on my suggestion of *Cinnamomum bejolghota. - *because
the side main veins arise right from the base.

I noted now that in this post, I have mixed up another tree - which I
request you and all to kindly ignore.
The photos - 2nd, 3rd, 6th and the last belong to another tree that was
growing adjacently. I am removing the photos from the iNaturalist
observation.

Visual Comparison Table
Feature *Cinnamomum verum* (True Cinnamon) *Cinnamomum bejolghota* (Wild
Cassia)
*New Leaves* Striking *bright red to pink* when young; transition quickly
to green. *Yellowish-green to bronze-red*; often have a distinct "dusty" or
muted tone.
*Leaf Texture* Glabrous (smooth), shiny, and leathery on both sides.
*Velvety/Pubescent* (hairy) on the underside; feel softer or "fuzzy" when
young.
*Leaf Size* Smaller (usually 7–18 cm long). Larger and more robust (can
reach 15–30 cm long).
*Leaf Shape* Ovate or lanceolate with a *blunt or rounded* tip. Elliptic-oblong
with a more *pronounced or acute* tip.
*Inflorescence* Silky-hairy clusters, usually shorter than the leaves. Stout,
large panicles; often *longer* than the leaves.

Key Distinguishing Factors
*1. The "Velvet" Test*
*Cinnamomum verum* leaves are notoriously smooth and "plastic-like" to the
touch. If the leaves felt velvety, it points strongly toward *C. bejolghota*,
which is known for having a fine layer of hairs (pubescence) on the
underside and stalks of young growth.

*2. Venation (The Veins)*

   - *C. verum:* Usually has 3 to 5 prominent longitudinal veins that start
right at the *base* of the leaf.
   - *C. bejolghota:* The two side veins often branch off slightly *above
the base* (tri-nerved), and the overall leaf looks much broader and
   "heavier."
