Many thanks Saroj ji. I arrived at *A. calva* because the involucral bracts are very short in the posted plant, almost hidden beneath the pyramidal (conical) flower heads. While *A.** uliginosa* has a single row of bracts that are clearly visible, often slightly spreading at the base of its smaller, pale yellow flower heads.
