Thank you Saroj Kasaju ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Prof Santhosh Rajamani <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 3:35:06 PM UTC+5:45 Subject: Aquatic species DB 6 To: Efloraofindia <[email protected]> Hello Potamogeton perfoliatus (clasping leaf Potamogeton) has leaves arranged clasping the stems and there are no floating leaves, permanently submerged macrophyte. This seems to Potamogeton Natans or maybe (excuse me if I am wrong) Aponogeton natans (please look for bulb/onions absence of which rules out Aponogeton). I doubt Aponogeton as they have spoon shaped, rounded floating leaves.
