Dear Mr. Garg, *According to the POWO , CoL, GBIF and WP, Cuscuta pentagona *Engelm. has got no distribution near Nepal and India and most of the Asian countries and also *Cuscuta campestris* Yunck is not the syn. as they are mentioned as separate sps.
I am wondering if this could be *Cuscuta chinensis *Lam. since it is recorded in Nepal. It is recorded form the Kirtipur which is the same locality of Chobhar. http://plantdatabase.kath.gov.np/plants/cuscuta-chinensis-lam-kath122054 http://plantdatabase.kath.gov.np/plants/cuscuta-chinensis-lam-kath122046 http://plantdatabase.kath.gov.np/plants/cuscuta-chinensis-lam-kath122043 Thank you.
