Only the following species of Cereus are listed in India Flora Online (Cereus hexagonus <https://indiaflora-ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2315&cat=13>, Cereus peruvianus <https://indiaflora-ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2316&cat=13> , Cereus pterogonus <https://indiaflora-ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2317&cat=13>) as per details herein. Only Cereus hexagonus <https://indiaflora-ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2315&cat=13> have distribution in the area. So I take it as Cereus hexagonus <https://indiaflora-ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=2315&cat=13>
