Yes, it may be a new record, if the observation of the tree was in the wilderness. I did a check from my end, as much as possible on the internet. I was not able to find any mention of distribution in Nepal.
Perhaps, the name may be prevalent among Nepali people in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, where this species is distributed. Thank you very much, Saroj ji !! Regards.
